Jermaine Orlando Elmore was born April 24, 1980 in Summerville, SC to Lejune Sterling Elmore and Adolph Reginold Elmore.Jermaine departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
He attended Dorchester District II schools.He began his education at Summerville Elementary School and gradated from Summerville High School. Upon his graduation, Jermaine wanted a career, not just a job, so he enrolled in school and was awarded his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).After graduation from school for his CDL, Jermaine drove eighteen wheelers long distance for a year.Then he became gainfully employed with Knight’s Redi-Mix for 5 1/2 years.After working for Knights, Jermaine then went to work for Carolina Redi-Mix, where he was employed until his passing.
Jermaine had a quiet and laid back spirit about himself.Family, was one of the most important things to him.You could find Jermaine playing basketball with his nephews, cousins and friends, or watching movies with them.Jermaine was a loving, caring and kind hearted man who loved his children and family.
Knowing the importance of religion, Jermaine made his confession to the Lord and became a member of Favor Ministries in Ridgeville, where he served to the best of his abilities.
Remembering Jermaine’s love, life and laughter are his parents, Lejene Elmore and Adolph Elmore, children Porschia Nichole, Andrea and Desiree Elmore; siblings Latashia Elmore (Sorrell McCutheon), Lakeldra Elmore (Kareem Houser), Shereda Elmore (Kenny Young) and Seth Lopez, grandmother Mrs. Maggie Williams (the late Hetcher Lee Williams).A host of aunts uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
