Pastor Delores “Big Mama” Armstrong was  the daughter of Isiah Drain and the late Mary Wilson,  born April 11, 1953.  She departed this life on Friday, February 19. 2010.

She graduated from Bonds Wilson High School of North Charleston.  She went on to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration from Rice College, also of North Charleston.  In 2009 she graduated from His Excellence Theological Seminary with her Master of Theology degree.

She is the former Pastor of Needs Supply Ministry.  She was the Pastor of Administration and founding member of The Assembly of the Eagles Empowerment Church. Summerville, SC.  There, she truly loved her pastor and church family, traveled extensively with the ministry, and faithfully served as the church secretary, Director of the Intercessors and as Bishop Jeter’s personal intercessor.  She was appointed as the National Chairman of Finance for Shekinah Fellowship of Churches, Inc. in 2009.

Affectionately known as “Big Mama”, she loved to bowl, play softball, loved to cook and made the best jelly cake in the world.

For 22 years she was employed with Santee Cooper as an Administrative Specialist in the department of transportation.

Her surviving family includes: her father Mr. Isiah Drain and Stepmother Wilhemenia Drain one stepbrother Tyrone Rollerson, two daughters Elder LaKishia Marshall of Summerville, SC and Ms. Iona Dukes of Conyers, GA, one son Isiah Marshall of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren Delores Drain, Rahem Drain, Keionia Drain, ShaRita Drain, Alisha Drain, Alijah Drain, Andre’ Dukes, Deroughn Dukes, DeAsha Dukes, Desira Dukes and Malaya Marshall; one great-grandson Kenji L. Simpson; one god-daughter Janesha Newkirk and a host of other relatives and friends.
