Celebration of Life For
Keith Marcus Singleton
On the night of January 23, 2010, Keith Marcus Singleton lost his battle with cancer and accepted his assignment, as an angel on high to sit at the feet of our Father, and worship him eternally.
Keith was born September 7, 1972 to Clement A. Singleton, Jr. and Victoria Singleton, in Summerville, South Carolina. “Beefy” and “Keefy” as he is fondly known by family and friends became a member of Canaan United Methodist Church and accepted Christ at an early age.
Keith graduated from Summerville High School class of 1990 and continued his education in Columbia at the University of South Carolina, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. He began his professional career with Westvaco Corporation as an intern in the GIS Field in West Virginia. Several companies pursued him because of his talent. After graduation from college he was initially employed in Raleigh, North Carolina as Software Engineer. Then he relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a Senior Software Engineer where he resided until his death.
Keith lived each day of his life with zeal. He loved to travel and share his experiences with us through his famous home movies. He had a deep love for family and treasured relationships. During his visits home Keith always visited his closest family and friends.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy: loving parents Clement and Victoria Singleton, Jr., brother Alex (Tei) Singleton of Ravenel, and sisters Clementine “Beth” (Robert) Perry of New Groton, C.T; Vanessa (Edson) Dos Santos of Summerville, SC. He also leaves behind host of Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and special friends John D’Angelo and Paul Mullen; who will always celebrate and cherish his love of life. |
