Reginald Campbell Obituary

Reginald Campbell, the son of the late Mary Grace Campbell (predeceased in 1972) was born on February 2, 1971, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the grandson of the late John Sr. and
Annabelle Campbell and the son of custodial parents, the late John Henry and Barbara Campbell Johnson. Reginald (“Reggie”) from the beginning of his life had the family support and advocacy
of his loving grandmother, parents, aunts, and uncles.

Reggie was a sports enthusiast from an early age and played little league baseball and football. He graduated in 1989 from Summerville High School and was a member of the wrestling team.
After high school, Reggie studied at Francis Marion College in Florence, SC. Reggie volunteered to join the military while in high school and began his service in the South Carolina National
Guard in Summerville as an Army Infantryman and would also later serve on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Soldier.

Reggie later joined in holy matrimony with Kesha Marquita Bowman of St. George, SC in 1995 and from this union, they were blessed with five wonderful children: Keshay Michelle, Kevin
Mikal, Keyawna Margaret, Keenan Marlin, and Kierra Miyah. Reggie accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and used his faith as a foundation for his new family. Reggie loved his family and this has
always been reciprocated by the love and respect his children demonstrated towards him.

Reggie made Summerville his home where he would live and work until he was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary G. Campbell, grandparents John Sr. and Annabelle Campbell, custodial parents John Henry and Barbara Johnson, sister Deanna Johnson Mitchell and uncles John Campbell, Jr., Herbert Campbell, Sr. and Leon Johnson.

Those Reggie leaves to cherish his life and memory are his beloved children: Keshay M. Campbell Keitt (Kamron), Kevin M. Campbell, Keyawna M. Campbell, Keenan M. Campbell, Kierra M. Campbell and separated spouse Kesha M. Campbell all of Orangeburg, SC; four grandchildren: Emani Riley, Nicole Keitt, Jonathan Keitt and Asha Keitt; two special aunts Betty Campbell Coleman of Hempstead, NY and Ann Campbell Simmons (Matthew) of Hampton, VA; aunt-in laws, Rhada Campbell of Queens, NY and Georgeanna Campbell of Summerville SC;
God-mother Louise Singletary of Summerville, SC; sister Sylvonia Johnson Jiles of Summerville, SC and brothers Henry Quinn Johnson (Terrie) of Lake Worth, FL and Glenn Johnson
(Bernadette) of Lorton, VA. Reggie will also be missed by his nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, family members and friends.

Reggie will be remembered as a loving son, grandson, nephew, brother, husband, friend and most importantly as a beloved father and grandfather.
