Ruth Richardson

Ruth Tucker Richardson the daughter of the late Rosa Smalls was born on November 17, 1935 in Dorchester County, SC. God called her home on April 4, 2019. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth, affectionately known as "Boot" was educated in the Dorchester county school system. At an early age, Ruth accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Ruth was a homemaker for all her years, and was also a caregiver for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth was a great cook and loved being outdoors and gardening.

Ruth was joined in holy matrimony to the late Levi Richardson in 1959. This wonderful union was blessed with 47 years of marriage until the passing of Levi. They were blessed with six children; three preceded her in death, Barbara Spruill and two infants.

Ruth leaves many loved ones to cherish her fond memories; her beautiful daughters Jerralyn Holmes, Rose Richardson and Virginia Richardson all of Summerville, SC; eight grandchildren Jacquetta Jamerson (Robert), Marcus Holmes (Lori), Ava Wilson (Bryant), Joeletta Richardson (Jason), Kalvin Smalls (Telisa), Sharday Richardson, Davin Hargrove and Shanna Spruill; twelve great-grandchildren Shiann Holes, Myaisha Holmes, Kalena Wilson, Kalen Richardson, Trinity Holmes, AJ Jamerson, Kamair Smalls, KJ Smalls, Kaleigha Smalls, Khloe Holmes, Kayla Richardson and Kaleb Smalls; One Aunt and

Uncle Henry Smalls and Celestine Smalls; nephews Anthony Varner ad Sidney Moorer; nieces Louise Richardson, Bernice Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson; Special cousins Dr. Jacqueline Hill and Cornell Harrison; a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.
