IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mitchell
Brown
November 22, 1944 – May 1, 2025
Mitchell Brown was born on November 22, 1944, in Winter Garden, Florida, to the late Lucille and Oscar Brown. He departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will live on through the many lives he touched. Mitchell served his country honorably in the United States Navy, exemplifying discipline, resilience, and quiet courage—qualities he carried into every aspect of his life. He was united in holy matrimony to Mattie Mae Brown. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised six beloved children: Pamela Brown, Patricia Brown, Camille Brown, Quincy Mitchell Brown and daughter in law Brandy Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Jayda Brown. Mitchell was a proud grandfather to Dimitri Brown, Courtney Brown, Sierra Brown, Cameron Sheppard, Madison Campbell, Preston Brown, and Brooklyn Brown, and a doting great-grandfather to Taylor Long and Trinity Long. He was a loving Uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews. A man of few words, Mitchell spoke volumes through his actions. He could fix anything, and he was always there when you needed him—with a tool in hand or a joke to lift your spirits. He loved to barbecue in the backyard, where laughter, good food, and family always came together. Mitchell was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, loyal to his team through the highs and the lows—just as he was loyal to his family and friends. His quiet strength, big heart, and unwavering support defined who he was. He could light up a room with his sense of humor and always knew how to make you smile, even in hard times. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Mitchell's spirit lives on in the family he loved so dearly, and in the memories we hold close. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten
