It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Mae Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC who entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2021. Betty was born on May 18,1935, to the late Cleveland and Lucille Felder Glover. Betty met the love of her life, Joe Clarence Pinckney, and they were married on November 30,1951. To this union ten children were born. Those left to cherish her memories are her children Joann (Raymond) Alston of Ladson, SC, Marilyn (Robert) Goodwine of Ridgeville, SC, Franklin (Gail) Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC, Leroy Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC, Laverne (Ransom) Johnson of Dorchester, SC, Kathy (Maxwell) Gethers of Adams Run, SC, Kenneth (Adaline) Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC, David Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC, Nathalie (Isaac Mazyck Jr.) Mazyck of Ridgeville, SC, and one that preceded her in death Betty Jean Kemmerlin; one sister Beatrice Irick of Ridgeville, SC and two sisters-in-law, Esther Glover, Ridgeville, SC and Helen Glover of Summerville, SC; thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-nine great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and a host extended family and friends.
