Ms. Elois Mackey , daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Simmons and the late Pinky Green, was born on October 24, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama. She relocated to Summerville, South Carolina, at an early age where she attended school in Dorchester County. Elois pursed a career as a home caregiver, dedicating over 30 years to providing care and support to many individuals.
Elois was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Charles Edward Mackey, Jr. She leaves behind five children to cherish her memories. Mrs. Julia Gillies(Jean), Mr. Marchel Mackey, Mr. Marcus Mackey of Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Lillian Mackey(James), and Mr. Isaiah Mackey, along with 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Nathaniel Green, Levander Jones, Charles Jones, sisters; Christine Jones, Dale Zachary (Jud), Regina Johnson, and Elaen Williams: preceded in death by her brother Anthony Morgan, her brothers-in-law; Wilber Tindall and Judge Johnson, special aunt: Mrs. Edna Simmons: and a host of other relatives and friends. Elois was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Mrs. Elizabeth Tindall and Rickey Green.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving family and friends.
