Esther Carrie Bannister Glover was born January 5, 1937 to the late Robert and Lottie Daniels Bannister in Givhans, SC. She attended the public schools of Dorchester County and joined New Hope United Methodist Church at an early age. Esther married Cleveland Reefe Glover, Jr. (deceased) on May 2, 1953, and to this union seven children were born. Esther retired as a contract worker from the Charleston Air Force Base after more than 25 years of dedicated service. She leaves to mourn six children; Queen Richardson (d. Willie), Geloria Nolan, Vanessa Geddis (Thomas), GeQuaker Glover, Gwendolyn Sellers, Earl Glover, preceded in death Carl Glover and two others who were raised as her own; Bernard Ladson (Sarah) and Wilean Ladson, a special niece; Lisa Bannister, two sister-in-laws; Beatrice Irick and Helen Glover as well as fifteen grandchildren (two preceded her in death), 26 great grandchildren (one preceded her in death), a devoted cousin Faye Cherry and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
