Henry was born in Summerville, SC, to Rosa and Jesse Hollings, Sr., on January 6, 1946. He attended Alston High School where he set a 46 point record in basketball and received his nickname, "Go Back." He was married to Diane Elmore. Henry served in the Air Force from 1964-1967, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He loved to fish and tell jokes. Henry is preceded by in death by his wife, Diane Hollands, his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hollings, Sr., his siblings, Jesse Hollings Jr., Joseph Hollings, Bertha Mae Stephenson, Rosa Bell West, Virginia Coardes, Gerline Williams, and Laura Bell Green. Henry is survived by his children: Mr. Keith(Charlie) Elmore, Sr. Mr. Henry Hollands, Jr., and Mrs. Charity (Furkin) Koprule; his grandchildren, Haley J Hollands, Tiana Hollands, Desean Hollands, Briana Hollands, Amari Hollands, Brianna Hollands, Armari Hollands, Kendahl Elmore, Keith Elmore Jr., Alana Booker, and Alexa Booker, and one sister in love, Sadie Hollings. He will be truly missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, along with other family members and friends.
