Obituary

Isabelle B. Warren , born in Bracey, Virginia on January 27, 1924, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. She is now in eternal peace with her children Christina and Etheridge, and her siblings Apostle John H. Boyd, Calvin C. Boyd, Helena Pogue, Cinderella Hazel, Franklin D.Boyd ,who preceded her in death. She was the eldest of seven children born to Margaret Stewart and Isaac Ward. In her teenage years, Isabelle moved to New York City. She began her working career as a butterer at the New Yorker hotel and went on to hold various jobs at 17 Magazine, Coca-Cola, and as a certified caregiver. She was a companion to her sister Cindy, who served as an official diplomat in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Colombia. In her later years she resided in South Carolina where she became a faithful member of Faith Assembly of God. She was a greeter, served on the intercessory prayer team and was a constant presence at the church, attending services every Sunday morning. To cherish her loving memories she leaves behind a loving daughter Aisha (Roy), and two loving sons, John B. Jones (Carolyn), and Ronald White (Taneisha), as well as a sister Lillian. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Isabelle will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who she touched throughout her life. May she rest in peace.
