Mrs. Rice was the wife of Mr. David Rice, Sr.; mother of Ms. Tammie James, Ms. Ebony Norman, Mr. David Rice, Jr. and the late Ms. Nelvena Jenkins; sister of Mr. Tony Washington, Ms. Jeanne Lucas, Mr. Horace James, Ms. Rose James and Ms. Lisa James; grandmother of Marques Walker, Tameria James, James Eady and Montavias Bettis
