Kenneth Gaddist Jr . entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Roper Hospital (Berkeley) in Summerville, SC, surrounded by family. He was born May 23, 1958, to the late Kenneth Gaddist Sr. and Lillian Mae Gourdine Gaddist. He was educated in the public schools in Manhattan, New York and later matriculated to the public schools in Berkeley County where he continued his studies and graduated in 1977 from Cross High School. At an early age he attended Mt. Pisgah A.M.E church where he continued his fellowship until his health declined. Kenneth enjoyed dancing, music, working, and spending time with family and friends. On December 14, 1984, Kenneth was united in holy matrimony to Annette Rhames. God blessed this union with three beautiful daughters, and one handsome son. Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife Annette R. Gaddist and sister Carol Gaddist St. Fleur. He leaves to cherish his rich and precious memories to his four children: Janet Gaddist of St. George, SC, Jan Gaddist (Brandon Hunter) of Ridgeville, SC, Keyrra Gaddist (Tyrell Hopkins) of St. George, SC, and Christopher Gaddist (Kia'vanna Brown) of Summerville, SC; two nieces Kim (Derome) Wilson of Holy Hill, SC and Robin (Marco) Levros of Miami, FL; one Aunt, Elise Mae Pringle of Ridgeville, SC; four brothers-in-law, Esau (Mary) Rhames Jr. of Duluth, GA, Edwin Boyd of St. George, SC, Oliver Wright Sr. and Alvin Rhames both of Dorchester, SC; five sisters-in-law Carolyn Rhames of Dorchester, SC, Elizabeth (Andrew) Felder of St. George, SC, Joann (Johnnie) Johnson of Dorchester, SC, Jaqueline Rhames of Ladson, SC, and Claireen (Alfred) Singletary of Dorchester, SC: four grand-children whom he loves dearly Ariya Britt, Karter Hopkins, Xavier Hunter, and Forever and Forever Gaddist, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
