I Thessalonians 4:14-18
In his infinite wisdom and in His time, God has once again called a child of His home. Luther Stewart Walters answered the Master's call early on the morning of December 1, 2015 at his earthly residence in Sumerville, SC. Luther Stewart Walters, son of the late Jascel Walters and Floribell Stewart Walters, was born December 26, 1930 in Ewarton, St. Catherine, Jamaica. Luther received his early education in St. Catherine and he eventually would go on to take college courses. On January 25, 1956, Luther would marry the former Daphne Johnson in Kingston, Jamaica. Their family would be blessed with the presence of five children. Not one to shirk his duties as a provider for his family, Luther became a master carpenter for 50 years. As a born again Christian, when he relocated to Summerville, SC, Luther would become a strong pillar within the body of Grace Fellowship Ministries, ever ready to do what was needed. Daily Luther could be seen walking as he communed with God and nature, and he loved to read and sing.
