The last of five children born to the late George and Essie Mae Elliot in South Mills, North Carolina; Mable E. Tyler was born on March 28, 1929. She departed her life on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Oakbrook Rehabilitation Center. She met and married Edward Binns Tyler and to this union, they were blessed with two children, Edward D. Tyler and Sheron Tyler. Mable was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ladson, South Carolina. There, she served as a member of the Golden Band, Older Adult Ministry, United Methodist Women, and the Stewardess Board. After years of diligent work, she retired from Unifirst Corporation Uniform Service. Mable is survived by her son, Edward D. (Teri) Tyler of Fredericksburg, VA, and Sheron T. (Anthony) Jones of Ladson, SC, and a host of relatives and friends.
