Mary Ellen Williams Ladson was born in Summerville, SC on July 9, 1949 to the late Kitt and Mabell Williams. Mary was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County and graduated from Alston High School in 1967. Mary was a lifelong member of the Canaan U.M. Church and serving on the choir before her disability in 1972. Mary continued to enjoy life, attending church, family vacations, visiting with friends, fishing, shopping, and family reunions. Mary loved her family for all the love and caregiven to her throughout the years. The Lord call Mary to take her final rest on Friday, September 26, 2025 peacefully in her mother's home. Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories; her daughter, Gina Oliver(Moses); three children, Adrian Oliver, Quinton Oliver(Alexus), and Wyatt Oliver; four great-grandchildren; Mason, Bryson, Lauryn, and Leila, four sisters; Joandell Remsey, Cynthia Williams, Annette Edwards, and Claretta Williams, two sisters-in-law, Denise Wingate and Jessie Spell; one aunt, Evelyn Carswell (Ivey); one uncle, James Williams(Melvina); adopted aunt Ms. Eliza Foy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
