IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul
Wright
May 5, 1969 – October 21, 2024
Paul Stanley Wright was born May 5, 1969, to the late Melnotte "Melvin" S. Wright and Carolyn Barnwell Wright in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During his early years, he was educated in Summerville, SC and graduated from Summerville High School. He worked at McDonalds until he was offered the opportunity to learn the trade of tile setting by the late Edward Sterling Privatte. Paul eventually struck out on his own and started "Wright Tile Services". He has worked all over the Low Country and has always had the reputation of doing quality work.
Paul attended Refuge Bibleway Church in his younger years. In recent years, he had a passion for playing pool. Paul was known for being a faithful player on Monday nights, became a mentor to some, a caring and sincere conversationalist, and we can't forget his sometimes-weird sense of humor and infectious laugh. He loved all types of music.
Paul is survived by is mother, Mother Carolyn B. Wright; a devoted friend, Anita King; his children Sterling C. Wright, Phillip King, Michael Unruh, and Brittany Tilton; one brother preceded him in death, Wayne S. Wright; one sister, Melvenia ( Marion Jr,)Muller; six grandchildren; one niece; one nephew, and a host of special friends who he considered family.
On behalf of the family, we encourage you to share your personal experiences and preserve the memory of Mr. Paul Stanley Wright for future generations to come.
