Perry L. Wolfe was born on January 9, 1941, in Summerville, South Carolina. On November 30, 2021, he transitioned from his earthly walk at Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Alston Grade School in the 1940's and 50's. Soon after, he worked for Red and White in Summerville for some time until he moved to New York City. There, he worked for George Rallis Flower Shop, retiring after working for fifty years. Perry was loved and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilford Nolan and Ada Wolfe; brother, Levon Wolfe and son, Perry L. Wolfe Jr. Perry is survived by his wife, Lisa White-Wolfe; children, Francene (Clinton) Wolfe of Hollywood SC, Sheila Wolfe of Jacksonville, FL, Marion (Patrice) Wolfe of Rosedale, NY, Dontae Dobbinson of Summerville, SC, and Elizabeth (David) Dobbinson; stepchildren, Lavern Dobbinson of Summerville, SC, David Dobbinson, New York, NY; Wardell Buel of Orlando, FL, Frankie Buel of Bronx, NY, and Leticia Buel of Yonkers, NY; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
