IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rezinda
White
November 28, 1959 – January 14, 2022
Rezinda White was born to Bilton and Thelma Anderson on November 28, 1959, in Cottageville, South Carolina. As a child, she grew up in the countryside and was one of the first black girls to be integrated into Colleton County Schools at the tender age of six. She birthed her first born James Bradley Anderson with Theodore Nesbitt. She later married Joseph Joey White and to this union, two sons were born, PJ Joey White and Justin Patrick White. Rezinda dedicated her life to raising her three sons and serving her community. Her business "Zin's Bake Shop" helped countless people celebrate birthdays, weddings, and other special events. She also founded Good News Christian Ministries, which included an afterschool program, English as a Second Language and Job Preparedness Classes for the underserved. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her in word and deed. Through her ministry she was a second mother to so many young girls and boys, who are now strong men and women. Rezinda joins her sister, Johnny May, Mother, and Father in Heaven. She is survived by her sons, James Bradley Anderson, PJ Joey White, and Justin Patrick White; her sisters, Birtie Thompkins, and Marie Aiken; her aunt, Marylee Fraizer; her grandchildren, Pear Eva Anderson, Ember Bree Anderson, Lily-Rose Berry Anderson, McKenzie Rae White, and Pierson Jae White; her daughters-in-law, Jodie Claire Anderson, Laurel Elizabeth White, and Kemi Mabel Chukwuka-White; her niece, Zetoya Pinckney and her nephews, Kirk Anderson, Eric Thompkins, and Eddie Aiken.
On behalf of the family, we encourage you to share your personal experiences and preserve the memory of Ms. Rezinda White for future generations to come.
