Obituary
Rolanda Eugenia Brown Kimp-Young was born November 11, 1968 to the late Eugene Brown and Rosemary Kennerly in Miami, FL.
Rolanda attended Dade County Public Schools where she graduated from Miami Springs Senior High School in 1987. She was active in the Jazz Dance and Chorus and the Marching Band.
Rolanda Accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1999 at the House of God Dorchester where she was still a member.
Rolanda met and married Paul Kimp, Sr. in July 1991, to that union, one son, Paul Kimp, Jr was born. She later married Woodrow Young in November 2007.
Rolanda was employed at American Paint and Paddle for more than 10 years until her health started failing.
She leaves to mourn her husband Woodrow Young, Sr; children Paul Kimp, Sr. (Ashley) and Rose Marie Armstead; two grandsons Logan and Levi Kimp; mother Rosemary Kennerly Armstead; siblings Aliston Armstead, Walker Miller and Nakima Miller; two step-sons Woodriw Young, Jr. and Jamal Young; aunts Ella Kemmerlin, Pauline (Steve) Hill, Sonna Lawson and Elizabeth Brown; uncles Minister Joseph (Annie) Kennerly, Willie Kennerly, Tony Brinson, Timothy Brown, Kenneth Brown and Curtis Brown. A host of cousins, family members and friends who will love her always.
