IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roosevelt
Williams
April 1, 2016
Roosevelt Williams, affectionately called Heavy, was born May 18, 1941 to the late Earline and Johnnie Williams. He departed this life on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina.
He attended the public school system of Dorchester County. He loved carpentry and worked as a very good carpenter until he was injured and became a paraplegic.
Heavy was a very laid back person, but very straight forward. He was very intelligent and when he explained something to you or gave you advice it stuck with you because his style of giving it was very unique. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Preceding him in death, his parents Earline and Johnnie Williams and one brother Steven Anthony Williams.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons: R. Jerome Williams (Ruthie) and Donald J. Williams; siblings, Ervin Williams (Virgie) , Lillian Williams, Elizabeth Ford, Rosalyn Bradley, Barbara Mitchell, Maybelle Hendricks and Judy Williams; grandchildren Maurice, Demarcus, Chrissy and Tanea; two great-grandchildren; two aunts Edna Simmons and Bernesta Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
