Sherlene Alston-Manigault was born in Ladson, SC to the late Arthur Lee and Ora Lee Alston. Sherlene was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her family. She worked as a nurse for twenty-nine years and was faithful to the Lord.

Sherlene was proceeded in death by two children Arlene Bennett and Roderic; three brothers; Syrus W. Alston, Arthur L. Alston, Jr., and Robert L. Alston.

Sherlene is survived by four loving children; Troy Manigault, Martin Manigault, Alicia and Lenora Manigault, four grandchildren; Madison Manigault, Christiana Bennett, Shacorey Manigault, and Christian Bennett; a loving sister, Margaret McCall; four brothers, Raymond(Joann) Alston, Marvin (Susan) Alston, Freddie(Sandra) Alston, and Gene Alston and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
