Obituary

Stanley Lee Dandridge was born on August 26, 1957 in Ridgeville, South Carolina, to John Phillip Murphy and Vashtie Dandridge Spellman. Stanley would graduate from Summerville High School in the Class of 1975, where as a student he participated in ROTC.

On Thursday, December 20, 2018 after a series of illnesses that wore his weakened body down, Stanley would enter into eternal rest at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, where his soul took its flight across death's stream.

As a child and young adult Stanley would attend Greater New Hope A. M. E. Church. In 1985 at New Bethel Sounds of Praise, he would marry the former Dora Jean Washington, and their union would produce daughters Shawntrell, Patrice and Whitney.

Stanley was a hard worker. He never shied away from any job, he was a painter at Scout Boats and was an associate at Walmart. Stanley was an all-around person, lovable, always smiling, ever ready to help anyone, always in good spirits and never met a stranger. He loved tinkering with and working on cars. Stanley was a jack of all trades when it came to mechanics and cars.

Stanley's memory will ever live in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. He leaves his memories with his wife Dora Jean Washington Dandridge, daughters Shawntrell Jones, Summerville, SC, Patrice Dandridge, Summerville, SC, and Whitney Dandridge, Charlotte, NC;
