"Steve" Bohlen, 69, of Summerville, SC, has passed away. Steve was the son of the late A.W. "Fedie" Bohlen, Jr and the late Ann Edwins Bohlen. Steve was born in Columbia, South Carolina and was the second of four children. Steve was an "Island chillen" growing up on Sullivan's Island in the 1970's. He became an avid surfer and loved to "shoot the hoops at the hill." Steve began his business career at the 7-11 on the Isle of Palms. Steve excelled with the Southland Corporation and later became the District Manager for the Charleston area. Steve decided to share his talent with other companies which resulted in him leaving the Lowcountry. Steve returned to the area in 2013 for retirement. Steve was preceded in death by his brother, W. Michael Bohlen. Steve is survived by his three sons, Jeremiah A. Bohlen, Joshua L. Bohlen, and Mark E. Bohlen; his sister, Kris B. Topping (Billy); his brother, J. Donovan Bohlen (Sussan); a grandson, Jayce Bohlen; and his life long friend, A. Andy Lacour.
