Susie Mae Bachelor entered into eternal rest on November 09, 2023 in Summerville, SC. She was born in Branchville, SC to the late James and Susie Williams. To know Susie was to love her. Susie was known for being kind and family oriented. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Susie dedicated her life to helping her family, friends, and neighbors throughout their difficult times. She had a passion for the art of bargain hunting at garage and estate sales. She often used her unique finds to decorate her home. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, visiting family, and friends in different places.

Susie was educated in the Dorchester County School District where she graduated from Alston High school. During her career she worked at Summerville Coastal center and retired from the Naval Weapons Station. She also worked for Walmart in Summerville, SC. Susie was a longtime member of St. Luke Baptist Church, where she found solace, community, and friendship.

Susie was preceded in death by her two grandchildren Darren and Jahmyah Bachelor; her siblings, Elizabeth Summers, Ida Snipes, George Williams, Enoch Williams, and James Williams.

Susie leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Mary (Jeffrey) Henning, Ronald (Beverly) Bachelor, Gwendolyn(Isaac) Mack- Conyers, Lorraine (Warren) Richardson, Linda Haynes, Michael Bachelor, Kenneth Bachelor, Titus (Donna) Bachelor, Benda Johnson, Eddie (Melissa) Bachelor ,James Bachelor; Twenty-six grandchildren, Forty-six great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

As the family matriarch, historian, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother you hold a special place in our hearts and will be dearly missed.
