Obituary
Mr. Thomas Bernard Dantzler was born in Summerville, South Carolina on June 23, 1961, to Miss Ida M. Dantzler and Mr. Ernest White, Jr.
Thomas was first educated in the Summerville public school system. He lived his early years with his grandparents, the late Mr. & Mrs. Isaac Dantzler, Sr.
Thomas later moved to Washington, DC to be joined with his mother and younger siblings. He then furthered his education in the D.C. Public School System.
Thomas was joined in holy matrimony to his loving wife, the former Cheryl Gibbs in 1990 until his untimely passing.
Thomas was a devoted son who always put family first. He was a hard worker that held various jobs throughout his lifetime, but his profession was home construction/renovations, vehicle mechanics and cooking was his passion. He was known for his famous pork pots and baked ham.
There are three steps to Heaven, out of self; into Christ; into Glory. Thomas took these first two steps in life, now he has taken the third step where there is no more weeping, no pain, no sorrow and no disappointment.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife- Cheryl Gibbs Dantzler; mother-Ms. Ida Dantzler-Oduola; father-Mr. Ernest White, Jr.; sisters- Ms. Ethel L. Dantzler, Mrs. Brenda Grinkley (Prince), Miss Lisa Nesbit-Fields, Miss Erin Byrd; brother-Mr. Troy D. Nesbit; Niece-Porsche Hancock.; Nephew-Pierce Nesbit; Devoted Uncle-Mr. Leroy Dantzler, Sr. (Doris), Harvey White (Lavern), Otis White, Jasper White; Loving Aunts Mrs. Dorothy Lambert, Mrs. Geneva Dingle, Mrs. Charlotte Dantzler, Ms. Rose Mary White. A host of loving relatives and devoted friends. Thomas was preceded in death by six uncles and three aunts.
