Vera Roberta Robinson "Beedie" age 81, formerly of Ladson, SC, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 8:20 pm.

Vera was born on May 29, 1942 in Ridgeville, SC, to the late James and Telestine Nix Robinson. She was also known as "Grandma Bea", "Beedie", or "Aunt Bee".  Vera graduated from Alston High School, and relocated to Queens, NY, where she pursued a career for twenty-years at Nuclear Cleaners in Great Neck Estates, NY, as a Laundry Technician Supervisor. In 1989 Vera had a stroke that left her paralyzed on her right side. She retired and moved back to South Carolina. Vera worshiped at Liberty Hill Christian Church, in 2015, she received and was awarded Mother Vera Robinson. Vera enjoyed playing her lottery, she loved and adored her grandsons, great nephews, and others. She loved helping and taking care of them. Vera was a very strong minded woman, and didn't mind expressing how she felt.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a son, Verdelwin a grandson, Desmond, a sister, Leathann, an aunt, Mother Victoria Hampton, and nephew, D'Juan.

She leaves to cherish and carry on her on her legacy of love and service one daughter, Tina Robinson McMullen; son-in-law, Dennis McMullen of Ladson, SC; two grandsons; Desean and Derek; one granddaughter; Desiree; three nieces; Joy, Kim, and Johnnise; one nephew; Joseph; five grandnephews; Tyress, Jairen, Justin, and Joseph, Jr, and Gianni; four grandnieces; Genona, Tyiesha, Jasmine, Jada, Janae, and a host of family and friends.
