Vernell White Evans was born to the late Thomas White and Connie Edward White on June 06, 1926 in Dorchester County, she entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2021.

Vernell was married to the late Jeff Evans Sr. In this union, they had five children. Vernell leaves to cherish memories, five children Woodrow Evans (Cynthia), Rosa Bell Evans, Dorothy Benson, Jefferson Evans Jr., and James Evans. "Ma Ma" leaves wonderful memories for fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Vernell leaves one sister-in-law Daisy B. Limehouse and one Uncle Tom White both of Summerville: and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
