Albertha D Oliver

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, Ms. Albertha Doris Oliver laid to eternal rest on March 26th, 2023, at 9:03pm at Trident Medical Hospital in North Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents Susie and Willie Oliver; her siblings Matthew "Bucky" (Eva Ann) Oliver, and Ermine " Mena"( Sandy) Glover; her children Nathaniel" Dusty" Oliver and Joseph "Joe" Oliver. Albertha was well known as, “Bertha,” by close family and friends. Born on  July 31st, 1944, in Dorchester County, Summerville, SC Bertha attended  Alston School located in Summerville, SC. Albertha loved all her family. She leaves behind her children who will cherish her memories; Herman (Ava) Oliver, Roosevelt “Rose” (Anita) Oliver, and Sara “Penny" (Anthony) Scott. She also leaves behind her three surviving siblings to cherish her memory, Mary Williams, Martha Oliver, and Edward "Arthur" (Eileen) Oliver. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren: Mario Anderson Sr., Jasmin “Jazz” Anderson,  Avery Oliver, Antonio Oliver, Ruben Oliver, Lorenzo Oliver, Takia Oliver, Matthew "Miquel" Oliver, Jeremy "Chico" Oliver, LaJuana Moreno, Areyanna Scott, Aa'Shia Scott, Anthony Scott Jr., Lexus Greene, Michael Wilson, and Kevin McKnight. Along with 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Albertha left an imprint on all those she encountered. She will be greatly missed.
