Anthony Manigault Obituary

A Time To Be Born
Brother Anthony Manigault was born on April 11, 1964 to the late Arthur Lee Manigault
and Mrs. Beatrice (the late Nathaniel) Irick. Bro. Anthony was the fourth of seven
children; one brother (Jeffrey) preceded him in death.
A Time To Learn
Brother Anthony was educated in Dorchester County public school system.
A Time To Share Love
On December 23, 1988 Brother Anthony was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Brittney
Antrell Weldon Manigault, who was his pride and joy.

A Time To Work
Brother Anthony was a carpenter for many years. He was the “Jack of all trades but the
master of none”
A Time To Die
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of
my labour; yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a
desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is by far better: Neverthless to abide in the
flesh is more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and
continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith. Philippians 1:21-25
After a brief illness, on February 18, 2020 surrounded by his family, Brother Anthony
took on his wings and flew away like a dove.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted daughter Brittney A. Weldon
Manigault; a special friend Ms. Brenda Brown; a loving and devoted mother Beatrice
Irick; his sisters, Mrs. Cecelia (Joshua) Lee, Mrs Annie (Michael) Doctor, Mrs Loretta
(Harvey) Norris, Mrs Janice (the late Darrell) Kemmerlin, Ms Bernice Manigault, one
brother Mr Arthur L Manigault; six aunts and uncles, Mrs. Betty M Pinckney (the late
Joe) Pinckney, Mrs Helen Glover (the late Oscar) Glover, Mrs. Esther (the late
Cleveland) Glover, Mrs Francis (Willie) Shaw, Mrs Laverne ( Ruben), Mrs Margaret (the
late Nathaniel) Middleton, Mr. Calvin (Wilhelmina). A host of nieces and nephews,
