Belinda Lett Oliver Baker 68, of Powder Springs, Georgia, transitioned peacefully on June 17, 2022 surrounded by family. Belinda Lett Oliver Baker was born November 7, 1953 in Summerville, South Carolina to the late Maceo and Hattie Clay Young Oliver. She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Toi Oliver who passed on June 4, 2022. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Emanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Louis Simmons. She later became a member of Word of Faith Cathedral in Austell, Georgia. Belinda graduated from Summerville High School and attended Medical University & Baptist College. She was a very talented and creative individual, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, decorating and cooking. Belinda was a respected business owner contracting with The Cobb County Community Service Board for 30 plus years. She had the pleasure of being the devoted caregiver of Danny White and Steven Martin for several years. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving and devoted husband Al Baker of 31 years: children Inderia Oliver Joseph of Mableton, GA, Dewayne Pitts of St.Petersburg, FL, Yamisha Gray-Griffin of Ozark, AL and Al Baker, Jr. of Mableton, GA: ten grandchildren three of which they raised Lareese Witherspoon of Dallas, TX, Quanteria Oliver of Powder Springs, GA and Valisha Oliver of Seymour, TN: five great grandchildren Malachi Johnson and Franco McClain: three sisters Orisha Thomsena Green, Sarah Duggins both of Summerville, SC and Callous (Ronald) Rouse of Goldboro, NC: one aunt Barbara Young of Summerville, SC: mother-in-law Elise Gray of Acworth, GA, father-in-law Roy (Willie Mae) Baker of Louisville, AL; four sister-in-laws Willie Mae (Charles) Macon of Chicago, IL, Carol (Stell) Flowers of Acworth, GA, Annice (Benny) Flowers of Powder Springs, GA and Gwen (David) Pullom of Clayton, AL: four brother-in-laws Bobby Baker of Louisville, AL, Veddis Ward of Clayton, AL, Rodney (Rochelle) Gray of Bowie, MD and Greg Gray of Stafford, VA: Goddaughter Belinda Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
