Mother Dosher Haynes Kennerly, daughter of the late Mr. Benjamin Haynes, Sr. and Mrs. Victoria Smalls Haynes was born in Ravenel, SC ( Bivens Community) on October 2, 1921. As a young girl, her family moved to Ridgeville, SC (Clubhouse/Haynes Hill Community). She departed her life on January 16, 2023. Mother Dosher received her education in Dorchester County Public Schools. At, an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Sandhill UMC in Ridgeville, SC. Years later, upon moving to Summerville, SC. She joined Central Baptist Church, where she served until her health began to fail. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Roger Alonzo Haynes; four brothers, Whaley Haynes, Benjamin Haynes, Ernest Haynes, and Robert Haynes; Four sisters, Victoria Haynes Geddis, Geneva Haynes Morris, O’Leatha Haynes, and Bernice Haynes. Those left to cherish her memories and perpetuate her legacy are: two devoted sons, Samuel(Barbara)Kennley of North Charleston and Harold Shoats of Summerville, SC; One brother, Matthew (Kathleen)Haynes of Ridgeville, SC; Nine grandchildren, Rosie Haynes, Angela Haynes, Alonzo Haynes, Antonio Haynes, Samuel Kennley III, Samantha Kennley, Ny-asia Kennley, Kahzhe Kennley, Samya Smith, Jazmine Shoats, Jessica Shoates, and Qashawn Shoats and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
