Fred Williams, Jr., son of the late Fred Williams, Sr. and Lucille Perry was born on January 26, 1952, in Trenton, New Jersey. He attended the public schools of Dorchester County, graduating
from Alston High School in 1971. He was employed as a carpenter providing faithful work for over 40 years. Fred was joined in marriage to his true love Mary Alice Gordon on April 2, 1993. He was a member of St. Paul UMC. He departed his life on November 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Guess; three sisters Alnetha, Elizabeth, and Mae Francis.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of twenty-eight years, Mary Williams and four children, Keisha (Thomas) Hadwin, David(Bobbie) Gordon, Fredrica Williams, and Ashley
(Peter) Campbell. Fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One sister Delores (William) McCall. Two sisters-in-law Shirley (Herbert) Simmons and Tracy Gordon. Two
brothers-in- law, Richmond (Gloria) Gordon and Willie Gordon. Also, a host of other relatives, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Special love, thoughts, and friends James Goodwine and Terry Campbell.
