Margaret Ann Virginia Moorer Prioleau, affectionately known as “Bob” was born to the late Jake and Albertha Moorer on March 23, 1946 in Summerville, South Carolina. On April 15, 2022, she entered into eternal rest and gained her heavenly wings. Bob received her education in the public schools of Berkeley & Dorchester County graduating from Alston High School in 1964. In August 1972, she graduated from the Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester Technical Education Center with an associate degree in Technical Secretary and Data Processing. Upon completion of high school, she relocated to New York and was employed with BellSouth for six years. In 1970, she moved back to South Carolina, to assist with the care of her mother. She retired after 40 years in banking in 2012 from Wells Fargo. At an early age, she became a faithful and devoted member of Branch A.M.E. Church where she diligently served the Gospel Ensemble Choir, the Usher Board, and the Women’s Missionary Society as a dedicated Stewardess, Steward Board and the Willing Workers Club. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved traveling, family and God. Bob was united in holy matrimony to Roosevelt Prioleau on November 18, 1972. This union was blessed with two children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jake Jr. and John Henry Moorer; and sister, Jannie Simpson. She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted husband, Roosevelt; children, Yvette and Christopher Prioleau; sister, Florence (Joel) Griffey; aunts, Leona Doiley, Rosena Butler and Elease (Herman) Davis; mother-in-law, Pearl McGill; brother-in-laws, Alfonzo Simpson, Marion (Mary) Deas, Sam (Clara) Deas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
