Pamela T. Daly

Pamela Shirell Thompson Daly was born February 21, 1967 to the late Elmer and Flora Mae Thompson in Titusville, FL. She was called home to receive her heavenly wings on December 15, 2022. At a early age, Pamela relocated to Ridgeville, SC to be raised by her loving grandparents the late James and Elizabeth Thompson. Pamela was the second born of three children. Shortly after relocating to Ridgeville, SC she became an active member at Canaan United Methodist Church. As a member of Canaan UMC, she was a member of the youth and children’s choir, young adult choir, a trustee and charge trustee, a part of the finance team, and helped with the youth and children’s ministry. She was also the co-director of the Canaan boys’ basketball league and the head coach of the team. She graduated from Summerville High school, Class of 1984. After graduating high school, she attended Benedict College and soon after entered the workforce. She began her career at Robert Bosch, in September of 1994. From 2001-2003 she completed the Bosch apprenticeship program where she received her Associates Degree. Throughout her years at Robert Bosch she held various positions, which include, machine operator, apprentice, set-up mechanic, shift coordinator, associate fist line manager,
and first line manager. In the summer of 1986, Pamela met the love of her life Derwin Daly, and on December 3, 1988, they were united in holy matrimony. Through their union they created two lovely daughters, Shirell Daly and Shelby Daly. In her free time some of the things she enjoyed doing was spending time with her family/spoiling her grandchildren, she enjoyed watching sports (Bang Bang Niner Gang!), traveling, and sitting on the shore watching the ocean. She is proceeded in death by her parents Elmer and Flora Mae Thompson; Grandparents, James andElizabeth Thompson, Doc and Fairy Frasier; and Uncle, Edward Stanley Thompson (Arlean). Pamela Shirell Thompson Daly is survived by her husband, Derwin Daly; her two daughters, Shirell Daly
and Shelby Daly; Her grandchildren, Ayanna Brown and Christian Daly; Two brothers, Carl Thompson (Joannie Bryant-Thompson) and Elmer Thompson Jr. (Wilemhmina Thompson); Two aunts Julia Robinson (Elijah Robinson Sr) and Inez Rush (Roy Rush); Mother-in-Law, Shirley Gilliard (Oscar Gillard); Three Brothers-in-Law, Ronald Daly (Mindy Daly), Dimitri Gilliard (Vershaun Gilliard), and Jamal Gilliard (Nicole Gilliard); and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
