Pearlie Stewart Obituary

Pearlie Mae K. Stewart entered this world on December 9, 1957, in Tifton, GA. She was born to the late Dorothy L. Cobb and the late Lee Carter (L.C) Kincey. She was raised and spent most of her life in Waycross, GA. At an early age she gave her life to Lord. She attended and graduated from the Ware Country school system. And later continued her education at a local vocational college in Georgia. She was employed with Memorial Hospital in Waycross, GA performing various jobs during her career. She was married to Mr. Leonard Stewart. And from this union one daughter, Mrs. Beverly Kincey-Dunmeyer was born. As her health began to fail, she moved to Charleston, SC to reside with her daughter and her extended family. Pearlie Mae enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She really loved her grandchildren and great- grandchild. She always had a big and beautiful smile. Pearlie Mae loved receiving flowers, one of her favorites was roses. She enjoyed listening to different genres of music, especially Gospel. And sneaking into the kitchen late at night for something sweet to eat or drink.
Early Monday morning on January 17,2022; God decided he wanted her back among the roses in his Heavenly Garden. Pearlie Mae's sweet and lively spirit will be deeply missed. Everyday wasn’t always sunshine for her, however she knew that God was her present strength. The loss of a mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend is never easy. She will always live forever in our hearts. Pearlie Mae had six siblings that preceded her in death. Ms. Jacqueline Smalls, Mr. Joseph Kincey, Mr. Frank L. Kincey, Mr. Anthony Cobb, Mr. Richard Cobb and Mr. Clifford Cobb, Jr. Pearlie Mae is survived by her only daughter Mrs. Beverly Kincey-Dunmeyer (Tony) of Summerville, SC. Three grandchildren; Mr. Ja’lyn Kincey (Savannah, GA), Mr. Marquis Milligan and Miss Faith Dunmeyer both of Summerville, SC. And one great-granddaughter Miss J’lazyha Kincey of Waycross, GA. She leaves behind her sister Ms. Leisa Cobb-Wilson of (Virginia Beach, VA) and her brother Mr. Willie Weatherspoon of Waycross, GA). Her aunts Ms. Eloise Strickland and Ms. Delores Gordon both from Waycross, GA. And her uncle Mr. Steve McKnight of (Homerville, GA). Along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
