Reginald Simpson Obituary

Reginald Wayne Simpson departed this life on Sunday April 17, 2022. Reginald was born to Lee and Ethel Simpson on May 23, 1943. Reggie as he was affectionately known was baptized at a young age. He graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, OH and continued his education at Kentucky State University. Reggie enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July, 31 1962 and was honorably discharged on December 20, 1966. He went on to serve in the Navy Reserve on May 30, 1977 and retired from the Navy on September 1, 1997. He worked for Metropolitan Housing in Cincinnati, OH and retired in June 2001.Reggie was an avid fisherman and camper. He could always be seen fishing off the dock in his backyard. Reggie was united in marriage with Ernestine Pickett on July 7. 1975. This union was blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Stanley and Eric Simpson and two sisters Eleanor Simpson and Dinorah Cody. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, daughters Regina (Jermaine) Moore of Summerville, SC. Camille Davis of Cincinnati, OH and son Robert(Julie) Davis of Buffalo, NY. One sister Sandra Mitchell of Cincinnati, OH. Eight grandchildren DeShon, Trinity, Tyrese, Eboni, Briana, Calvin, Keisha, DeNiko and one special brother, Nate Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
