It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Rodney Harris of Holly Hill, SC, who entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2021. He was born March 3, 1967.
Rodney grew up in Harleyville, SC and received his education in the public schools of Dorchester County. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Harris, his brother Spencer Washington, and son, Joshua Kelly. His maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Sylvia Harris of St. George, SC. Two sons, Lyn (Jennifer)Kelly and Darrell Kelly-Lemon. A father David Washington, of the home. His loving mother Bertha Washington, Ladson, SC. His brother, Chris (Natalie) Washington, Lemarque, TX, Antonio Green, Holly Hill, SC. His sisters, Tammie (Troy) Johnson, Ladson, SC, Chiquita (Monroe) Fields, Summerville, SC, and Angela (Willie) Sumpter, Holly Hill,SC. His uncles, AJ Harris, Arthur (Loretha) Gardner, Raymond (Margaret) Gardner, Herbert (Geanine) Gardner, David Gardner, Archie (Patsy) Gardner, and Jason Gardner. Robert L (Shirley)Washington, Ezekiel Washington and Nathaniel Washington. His aunts, Barbara Mack, Patsy (John) Williams, Beaveline Gardner, Magadeline (Vincent) Mitchell, Joyce Dawson. His great Aunts, Polly Gardner and Hannah Heyward. His mother in law, Lula Reeves. Sisters-in-law, Ada ( Eddie) Berry, Shawn, (Douglas) Calvin, Audrey Prophet, Levern Kelly, Jovon Prophet-Lawson.
